Eyeleds Germany Partner at Openings in Europa-Passage
Hamburg, Germany - December 06, 2008
In the „Europa-Passage“, Hamburg City largest and most exclusive Shopping Centre, the openings found place of the Indoor Ice Rink, the first ice area in a Shopping Mall based on a synthetic sliding-material. The Shopping Mall is directly located near the ‘Binnenalster’.
The Official Event Openings were done by two talented Forwards of Ice hockey Club “Hamburg Freezers” Vitalij Aab and Alexander Barta.
Until the 3rd of January, 2009, over 1,2 million visitors are expected to visit the event. Visitors will be able to rent their own skates on site and move over an area of 100m² ice. Immediately after the event openings on Wednesday, the first dare-devils took their opportunity to set foot upon the ice and enjoy the applause of the multiple visitors at the sideline.
Eyeleds Germany, Official Partner of the Event, advised on the Lighting Concept within the “Ice-Rink” bordering. 41 pieces Eyeleds ColorEYE ColorStop were installed to accentuate the field. In the adjacent lounge area, there has been taken care for “corporeal well-being” and the visitors are able to get advised about the products being used.

Fraunhofer IPMS celebrates the official opening of COMEDD
Lighting Science Group Corporation / Eyeleds International is involved in a participation program to stimulate advance and innovation in led solutions as developed by Fraunhofer in Germany.
Within the next few days, Fraunhofer IPMS is undergoing the conversion of the Organics Clean Room along with the construction of a worldwide unique fabrication technology for the large-area deposition of organic light emitting diodes (OLED). The expansion of our Center for Organic Materials and Electronic Devices Dresden – COMEDD is now taking on form.
To mark the launch of the new system will be on October 30, 2008.
OLED is a new way of using LED that is even more environmental friendly than custom LED lighting.

NEW YORK, NY - October 23, 2008 - Lighting Science (LSG), a global developer and integrator of intelligent and efficient light-emitting diode (LED) solutions, and the ACO Group, the worldwide leader in water drain systems and intelligent water drainage, today announced the global availability of the ACO Eyeleds solution for illuminating outdoor spaces. The new drainage solution will incorporate attractive and sustainable LED lighting technology as a permanent part of track drainage grates, which provide natural locations for pathway illumination.
"Designed as a guiding and decorative option for illuminating paths, open spaces, sport areas and private driveways, the ACO Eyeleds system represents the intersection of function and design," said Anja Sievers, product manager at ACO. The system can be added to new projects and existing removable drain grates, eliminating the need to install light fixtures directly into the concrete, tile or wood surface itself. The system also provides low energy consumption of only 3 watts per light point and a life span of up to 100,000 hours.

ACO Drain systems, made of corrosion-resistant polymer concrete, are the leading modular trench drain systems. The ACO Eyeleds, installed in the plastic grating load class B 125 and made of Polyamid and recycled material compounds, are powerful white LED light sources which feature a build-in depth of just 6.5 mm. They are resistant to scratches, shocks and UV rays and completely watertight. The ACO Eyeleds can withstand "walk" or "drive-over" loads up to 285kg, ideal for drainage systems. The installation process involves a simple joining of cable connections, with no electrician required.

Goes, The Netherlands – Friday, 10 October 2008 – Eyeleds International is happy to announce the official market release of the latest Product Innovation 'Eyeleds Outdoor Extreme'.
Eyeleds International offers ultra-slim, sustainable, 'plug-and-play' LED lighting solutions for application in both indoor and outdoor environments. The current product range is used in both end consumer and professional projects for orientation, design and functional purposes.
Considering the application of Eyeleds in outdoor environments, Eyeleds offers currently the successful Outdoor 'Basic' and Outdoor 'Professional' series.
