What is RSS?
A web feed (or news feed) is a data format used for providing users with frequently updated content. Content distributors syndicate a web feed, thereby allowing users to subscribe to it with an external program. This makes it possible to receive news from multiple locations in one program.
RSS is one of the most used formats to provide a feed and stands for Really Simple Syndication.
